Albert Einstein is without a doubt a leading figure of the 20th century. He brought an undeniable contribution to our understanding of the Univers. Among his many achievements is the theory of relativity. This conference will address the highlights of Einstein's life. However, in order to be relevant, this lecture must include a description, even if only qualitative, of the object of the theory of relativity. Nevertheless, these ideas will be presented in a humanistic setting rather than technical.
